Review process
The newsroom reviews the published material, original sources and new evidence. When an error is confirmed, the article is corrected promptly; the headline, summary, image credit or source links may also be amended where necessary.
Updates and removal
Adding routine developments is treated as an update. A material factual correction may be clearly identified for readers. Removal is reserved for exceptional circumstances, such as a legal requirement, serious safety risk or loss of an adequate basis for publication.
