A continuous rise in dengue cases is being observed in Kanpur. Seven more patients were confirmed with dengue on Sunday, bringing the total number of infected individuals this year to 155. According to the health department report, cases of scrub typhus and malaria have also been reported alongside dengue. The department is monitoring the situation and preventive measures are being taken.

The dengue infection is spreading rapidly in Kanpur, raising concerns for the health department. According to the data released on Sunday, seven more individuals have been confirmed with dengue. With this, the total number of dengue patients in the city since January 1st has reached 155.

According to the information provided by the health department, the impact of other seasonal diseases is also being observed alongside dengue. The report states that since the beginning of this year, 16 cases of scrub typhus and 21 cases of malaria have been recorded.

As per the Amar Ujala report, the health department is continuously monitoring the situation. Testing and treatment facilities have been increased in the affected areas. People have been advised not to let water stagnate around their homes and to take precautions against mosquitoes.

In view of the rising dengue cases, special arrangements have also been made in hospitals. Separate wards for patients and the availability of sufficient medicines are being ensured. The health department has appealed to the public to contact the nearest health center immediately if symptoms of fever or dengue appear.

Locations where mosquitoes breed in the city are being identified, and fogging and spraying of insecticides are being carried out there. The municipal corporation and the health department are working together to run this campaign to prevent the spread of the infection.

Experts believe that the outbreak of mosquitoes increases due to changes in the weather, which raises the risk of diseases like dengue and malaria. People have been advised to wear full-sleeved clothes and use mosquito nets.

the health department has also clarified that they are fully committed to controlling the situation. The number of tests may be increased further in the coming days so that patients can be identified in time.

Residents of Kanpur need to remain vigilant. Maintaining cleanliness and following the instructions of the health department is the most effective way to avoid this infection. The department has also advised not to pay attention to any kind of rumors.
