Ayodhya: One thousand candidates run for Home Guard recruitment, one suffers leg fracture
On the second day of the physical efficiency test for Home Guard recruitment at Dabhasemar Stadium in Ayodhya, one thousand candidates participated in the race. During the event, one candidate suffered a leg fracture, while six others fainted due to exhaustion. Medical teams were present on-site to provide necessary assistance to the affected candidates.

A high level of enthusiasm was observed among the youth on the second day of the recruitment drive, with approximately one thousand candidates participating in the race. Due to the intense heat and physical exertion, some candidates faced health-related challenges.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, one candidate suffered a leg fracture during the race. Additionally, six other candidates collapsed after completing their run. The medical team present at the venue immediately provided first aid to these candidates.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the recruitment process, robust security and health arrangements were made at the stadium. A large number of youths arrived, leading to a crowded situation, which was managed by the deployed police force.
In addition to the race, other standards have been set for the physical efficiency test, and only those who meet these criteria will be eligible for the next stage of the selection process. The administration has advised all candidates to take care of their health.
There is significant competition among the youth for the Home Guard positions in Ayodhya. Due to the high volume of applications, the examination is being conducted in multiple phases.
Recruitment board officials stated that full attention is being given to security and transparency during the examination. Special surveillance is being maintained both inside and outside the stadium to prevent any mismanagement.
The condition of the injured candidates is reported to be stable after receiving necessary medical assistance. The recruitment process is expected to continue for the next few days.
