Aligarh: Girl molested while sleeping in Kaifiyat Express, passengers catch vendor

A shameful incident has come to light inside the Kaifiyat Express in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. A nine-year-old girl traveling on this train from Azamgarh to Delhi was targeted. At the time of the incident, the girl was sleeping with her family.

It is alleged that a vendor working in the train's pantry car came and laid down next to the girl and started molesting her. The girl suddenly woke up and started screaming. Hearing her cries, her brother and mother, who were traveling with her, woke up.

Family members immediately caught the vendor red-handed. When other passengers on the train learned about the incident, they also surrounded the accused. The passengers confronted the accused and handed him over to the GRP (Government Railway Police).

After this incident, massive outrage was seen among the passengers traveling on the train. Questions are being raised about the security arrangements, specifically how a vendor could so easily commit such an act with a passenger.
