Swine flu outbreak in Aligarh: Three new cases reported as health department remains on alert
The health department in Aligarh is on alert following the detection of three new swine flu cases. Out of 265 individuals tested so far, 65 have been found positive for the virus. Encouragingly, 55 patients have already recovered, while 10 are currently undergoing treatment. To curb further spread, authorities have successfully vaccinated 103 people as a preventive measure.

According to data released by the health department on Friday, three additional individuals have tested positive for the virus. Following these new reports, local health officials have intensified surveillance and advised the public to exercise caution.
As per reports from the Amar Ujala network, a total of 265 suspected cases have been screened in the district to date. Among these examinations, 65 individuals were confirmed to be infected with swine flu. Health department statistics indicate that the majority of these patients have now fully recovered.
At present, 55 infected patients have recovered after treatment and returned to their homes. Meanwhile, 10 patients are still undergoing treatment, with doctors closely monitoring their progress. The health department is making every effort to ensure the recovery of these remaining patients.
To control the spread of the infection, the health department has accelerated its vaccination drive. A total of 103 people have been vaccinated so far to protect against swine flu. Officials state that vaccination and timely screening remain the most effective methods to combat this illness.
Health authorities have appealed to the public to contact the nearest health center immediately if symptoms of swine flu are observed. Departmental teams are actively working in affected areas to break the chain of transmission.
