Aligarh Civil Bar Association Elections: Pankaj Gupta Elected President, Ratnesh Chandra Jairo General Secretary, and Pushpa Devi Treasurer

The results for the 2026-27 annual elections of the Aligarh Civil Bar Association have been declared. According to an Amar Ujala report, Pankaj Gupta has been elected as the president. Ratnesh Chandra Jairo has been elected as the general secretary, and Pushpa Devi Sharma as the treasurer.

Amidst significant activity in the legal circles of Aligarh, the annual elections for the Civil Bar Association for 2026-27 have concluded. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the results were declared following the vote count, with Pankaj Gupta emerging as the winner for the post of president.

Pankaj Gupta secured 156 votes in this election. He defeated his closest rival, Ram Singh, by a margin of 70 votes. With this victory, he will now assume his responsibilities as the president of the association.

In the closely contested race for the position of general secretary, Ratnesh Chandra Jairo secured the win. He received a total of 148 votes. This victory marks a significant role for him in the administrative affairs of the association.

Pushpa Devi Sharma emerged victorious for the post of treasurer. She received 180 votes, reflecting her popularity and the trust of the members. She will now be responsible for managing the financial affairs of the association.

Following the completion of the election process, the newly elected office bearers began receiving congratulations. Members of the association expressed hope that the new executive committee would work effectively for the interests of the advocates.
