A case of poor health services has emerged at the District Hospital in Agra. The digital X-ray machine installed at the hospital has been non-functional for the past week due to technical faults. This situation is causing severe difficulties for patients visiting the hospital.

According to a report by Amar Ujala, due to the machine being out of order, patients are forced to stand in long queues for examinations. Patients and their relatives are having to wait for 4 to 5 hours for their turn, which has further increased their distress.

Approximately 20 to 30 percent of patients visiting the hospital are being forced to return home disappointed because they are unable to get their tests done. Even patients in critical condition are having to wait for hours, which could have a negative impact on their health.

So far, no concrete steps have been taken by the hospital administration to repair the machine, leading to anger among the patients. For those coming from remote areas, this situation is even more painful.

Patients state that the fact that a basic facility like an X-ray machine remains broken for seven days reflects the negligence of the administration. They are being forced to visit private centers to get X-rays done at high costs.

According to hospital sources, the technical team has been informed about the fault in the machine, but the repair work has not yet been completed. Due to this delay, the number of patients is increasing.

Health department officials need to intervene in this matter immediately so that patients can get relief. Hundreds of patients visit the district hospital daily for treatment, many of whom require urgent X-rays.

It is hoped that the machine will be repaired soon so that patients can find relief and the hospital's operations can run smoothly.
