During the second day of Innoprom India 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov toured the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) pavilion. The ministers engaged with the NICDC team to understand key initiatives aimed at strengthening India's industrial and manufacturing ecosystem.

NICDC presented its core projects, including the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme, Industrial Smart Cities, PM MITRA Parks, and advanced digital logistics solutions. These initiatives are designed to bolster domestic manufacturing and create a globally competitive industrial environment within the country.

Discussions highlighted potential collaborations between India and Russia in manufacturing, industrial technology, and investment. The NICDC pavilion attracted significant participation from international investors, technology firms, and trade delegations, who expressed keen interest in India's infrastructure readiness and opportunities for establishing manufacturing units.

NICDC organized a series of B2B meetings with Russian counterparts and BRICS representatives. These sessions focused on potential partnerships in advanced engineering, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and the automotive sector, aiming to enhance supply-chain integration and technological cooperation.

NICDC CEO and Managing Director Rajat Kumar Saini reviewed the ongoing investor engagement activities during the exhibition. He emphasized the corporation's commitment to supporting companies looking to initiate or expand their manufacturing operations in India through high-quality infrastructure and multimodal connectivity.

This inaugural edition of Innoprom in India has served as a vital platform for direct dialogue between government representatives, industries, and investors from both nations. The positive response at the exhibition underscores the international community's sustained interest in India's industrial development program.

NICDC will continue its investor outreach and B2B discussions on the final day of Innoprom India 2026, scheduled for September 11, 2026. Through these initiatives, the organization continues to support the Government of India's efforts to strengthen domestic manufacturing and attract global investment under the 'Make in India' and 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047' visions.
