The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented significant changes within the Panchayati Raj Department to strengthen administrative arrangements. The department has issued orders for the posting of in-charge District Panchayati Raj Officers in six different districts of the state. This step has been taken to accelerate administrative work in these districts.

According to the report by Amar Ujala, the positions of regular District Panchayati Raj Officers were vacant in these districts. Until permanent appointments are made to these posts, these in-charge officers will manage operations in their respective districts.

A total of 10 officials have been transferred as part of this reshuffle process. These 10 officials include the six in-charge officers who have been assigned new responsibilities. The department believes that this change will expedite the implementation of schemes related to Panchayati Raj.

According to administrative sources, this is a routine process aimed at ensuring the seamless continuation of administrative work in the districts. Given the importance of the functions of the Panchayati Raj Department, the presence of officers in these positions is mandatory.

The transferred officials have been instructed to assume charge at their new postings with immediate effect. The department has clarified that the in-charge officers will perform their duties with full responsibility until regular postings are made.

The government is continuously making efforts to strengthen the Panchayati Raj system in the state. With the posting of these officers, better coordination is expected in rural development and the functioning of local bodies.

All necessary orders related to this reshuffle have been issued, and information has been sent to the respective districts. The Panchayati Raj Department may also initiate the process for permanent appointments to the vacant posts in the near future.
