Changes in old age pension rules in Uttar Pradesh, now get 1500 rupees in 45 days
The Uttar Pradesh government has changed the process of old age pension distribution. According to an NDTV India report, the quarterly pension of 3000 rupees will now be given in installments instead of a lump sum. Under this, an amount of 1500 rupees will be sent directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts every 45 days.

Important information has emerged for elderly citizens receiving old age pensions in Uttar Pradesh. The state government has decided to change the existing system of pension distribution. Until now, beneficiaries were given a pension amount of 3000 rupees once every three months, but this has been changed under the new system.
According to the report by NDTV India, this total amount of 3000 rupees will now be provided in installments instead of all at once. According to the new policy, beneficiaries will now receive an amount of 1500 rupees at intervals of every 45 days.
This pension amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries to ensure transparency in the process and to avoid any inconvenience to the elderly. This step by the government is aimed at making the pension distribution more streamlined.
This change will benefit all the elderly in the state who are registered under the old age pension scheme. The government has made efforts to ensure that the pension amount reaches the beneficiaries on time and without any delay.
Pensioners have been advised to keep their bank accounts linked with Aadhaar and ensure that their details are updated. This will prevent any technical hurdles in the amount reaching their accounts directly.
This new system is a major administrative change for the pensioners of the state. The government believes that paying in installments will provide more convenience to the beneficiaries in meeting their daily needs.
For more information in this regard, beneficiaries can contact their respective District Social Welfare Department or visit the official government portal. The government has clarified that this rule has been implemented with immediate effect.
