Swine flu alert in Uttar Pradesh: 105 beds reserved in government hospitals
Following the detection of a swine flu case in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued a health alert. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has directed the health department to ensure preparedness, resulting in the reservation of 105 beds across government hospitals and community health centers.

After a case of the infection was reported in Lucknow, the administration has become fully active. According to a report by Amar Ujala, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak held a meeting with health officials via video conferencing regarding the situation.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister issued strict instructions to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place. Special wards have been prepared for swine flu patients in government hospitals across the state. A total of 105 beds have been reserved to handle any potential emergency situations.
These beds have been arranged in major hospitals such as Hallet, Ursula, and Kanshiram, as well as in all Community Health Centers (CHCs). The health department's goal is to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate treatment while preventing the spread of the infection.
Officials have been directed to ensure the availability of medicines and medical equipment in hospitals. Special monitoring has also been ordered to identify patients exhibiting symptoms of swine flu.
The health department has also appealed to the general public to exercise caution. People have been advised not to ignore symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing.
The instructions issued by the government aim to strengthen health services across the state. Teams are also being deployed at the district level to curb the spread of swine flu.
The administration stated that the situation is fully under control and no negligence will be tolerated. The health department is continuously reviewing the situation to ensure that better healthcare facilities are provided to the public.
