Kanpur: Youth dies of depression after money was swindled under the guise of friendship
A case of a youth dying due to depression has emerged in Babupurwa, Kanpur. The father alleges that an individual from Fatehpur befriended his son and swindled a large sum of money from him. This betrayal reportedly pushed his son, Jitendra Pal, into deep depression. The police have registered a report and initiated an investigation into the matter.
VIMARSHNAARAD TVRakesh Kumar Pal, a resident of Babupurwa Bagahi, TP Nagar in Kanpur, has filed a serious complaint with the police. According to a report by Amar Ujala, Rakesh Kumar alleges that his son, Jitendra Pal, died due to depression, which was primarily caused by a financial fraud.
According to the complaint, Shiv Pratap Singh, a resident of Abu Mohammadpur Awas-Vikas in Fatehpur, had befriended Jitendra Pal. It is alleged that taking advantage of this friendship, Shiv Pratap swindled a large sum of money from Jitendra. When Jitendra asked for his money back, he was reportedly given excuses and the funds were not returned.
The father claims that due to this betrayal and financial loss, Jitendra fell into deep mental stress and depression. After suffering from this trauma for a long time, Jitendra passed away. The family alleges that if Shiv Pratap had returned the money on time, Jitendra would still be alive today.
The police have registered a case based on the complaint filed by Rakesh Kumar Pal. The authorities are now investigating the allegations of fraud. Officials stated that every aspect of the case will be examined thoroughly, and further legal action will be taken based on the evidence gathered.
This incident has caused a stir in the area. Local residents are shocked at how someone could be pushed into a state of depression by taking advantage of a friendship. Family members are pleading for justice and demanding strict action against the accused.
