An 18-year-old NEET aspirant named Ansh, alias Lavkush, was found hanging in his room in Kanpur's Kalyanpur area. The incident came to light when his younger sister looked through a window and saw the body. Local police have initiated an investigation into the tragic death, which occurred in the Radhapuram neighborhood where the student resided with his family.

A tragic incident has been reported from the Radhapuram area under the Kalyanpur police station limits in Kanpur. An 18-year-old student named Ansh, also known as Lavkush, who was preparing for the NEET examination, allegedly died by suicide. He was the younger brother of a software engineer and was living in the city to pursue his studies.

The incident came to light on Tuesday evening when the student's younger sister, Surbhi, could not find him in the house. When she knocked on his room door and received no response, she decided to look inside through a small window located above the door.

Upon looking through the window, Surbhi was devastated to see her brother's body hanging from the ceiling. She immediately raised an alarm, alerting neighbors and other family members about the situation.

Family members rushed to break open the door and brought the student down, but it was already too late. Upon receiving the information, local police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination.

According to reports from Amar Ujala, the police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. However, the specific reasons behind the suicide have not yet been determined. The family is in a state of deep shock following the incident.

Police officials stated that they are searching the room and questioning neighbors to gather more information. The student's mobile phone and other personal documents will also be examined to understand the circumstances leading to this tragedy.

The incident has become a subject of concern in the local community. Such occurrences among students preparing for competitive exams often highlight the critical need to address mental health and academic pressure. The police have initiated further legal proceedings in the case.
