The incident took place as the leader and his family were returning home following the immersion of a Ganesh idol at the Ganga Barrage. Amit Shukla, the son of the BJP leader, provided details regarding the confrontation. He stated that as they were passing by the Kohna outpost, a group of people had blocked the road. When they requested the individuals to move so their vehicle could pass, the group reacted aggressively.
According to Amit, the individuals involved appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Following the simple request for passage, they surrounded the BJP leader's vehicle. The situation escalated quickly as they began pelting the car with stones and causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
