The arrested smuggler has been identified as Ranjeet Kumar, a 40-year-old resident of Panchmahala in the Gaya district of Bihar. Authorities believe he has been involved in the illegal liquor trade for quite some time.
During the search, the police discovered bottles of English liquor manufactured in Haryana inside the suspect's trolley bag. The total volume of the seized alcohol is 12.75 liters. The estimated market value of this haul is approximately 50,000 rupees.
Police have taken the suspect into custody and initiated an interrogation. Preliminary investigations suggest that the smuggler intended to transport the liquor from Haryana to Bihar. Authorities are now working to identify other individuals who might be connected to this smuggling network.
