According to a report by the Amar Ujala network, an AC sleeper bus lost control and rammed into the rear of a trailer loaded with tiles on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway at approximately 5:30 AM.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the bus was mangled. The report states that the bus driver had suddenly fallen asleep, causing him to lose control of the vehicle, which then crashed directly into the trailer. Chaos ensued at the scene immediately following the collision.
Four passengers lost their lives on the spot in this accident. According to information from Amar Ujala, the collision was so intense that human remains were scattered across the road for nearly 100 meters. This heartbreaking scene left those present at the location stunned.
