A sense of panic gripped local residents in Chitrakoot on Tuesday night following the sighting of a massive python. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the incident occurred on the route leading from Patel Tiraha towards Collectorate Road. The python was spotted near an under-construction drain close to Chitrakoot Inter College.

The python was estimated to be approximately 15 feet long. As soon as people noticed the giant reptile, chaos erupted in the area. Passersby and local residents immediately alerted the Forest Department.

Upon receiving the information, a team from the Forest Department arrived at the scene. The team exercised great caution while initiating the operation to rescue the python safely. Due to the significant size of the reptile, the rescue operation took some time, but the forest personnel successfully managed to secure it.

Forest Department officials stated that the process of safely relocating the python to a secure area within the forest has been initiated. They have appealed to the public not to attempt to catch wild animals themselves if spotted, and to inform the department immediately.

Following this incident, the area has become a topic of discussion. Collectorate Road is a busy thoroughfare with constant movement throughout the day. Fortunately, no one was harmed by the python, and it was rescued in a timely manner.

Local residents have appreciated the prompt action taken by the Forest Department. Such incidents often occur during the rainy season or during construction activities when wild animals stray from their natural habitats.

Currently, the situation is completely normal, and the Forest Department team has relocated the python to a safe environment. People have been advised to remain cautious while using this road.
