Tragic accident in Chitrakoot: Innocent child falls from roof while catching kite, dies after iron rod pierces chest

A heartbreaking incident occurred on Thursday in the Mulayam Nagar area of the Sadar Kotwali region in Chitrakoot district. A five-year-old child lost his life after falling from a roof while attempting to catch a kite. The incident took place when the child reached the edge of the roof while playing and lost his balance.

According to the Amar Ujala report, the child was running after a kite when he fell from the roof. Unfortunately, due to ongoing construction work, an iron rod was protruding from a pillar below. Upon falling, the rod pierced directly into the child's chest.

People present at the scene stated that the injury was so severe that the child died on the spot. Following this accident, a wave of mourning has spread throughout the area. The family members are devastated and completely broken in this moment of grief.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a local police team reached the spot. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Police officials stated that the matter is being investigated and statements from the relatives are being recorded.
