Tabu Reveals Her Biggest Fear During ‘Drishyam 2’ at Trailer Launch Event

A grand trailer launch event for the film ‘Drishyam 3’ was held in Goa on Wednesday. The film's lead actress, Tabu, attended the event and shared her memories associated with the franchise. She specifically spoke about the fear she experienced during the making of ‘Drishyam 2’.

According to the entertainment desk at Amar Ujala, Tabu revealed that she had a major concern while preparing for ‘Drishyam 2’. She was afraid because, during the COVID-19 pandemic, audiences had already watched the version of the film starring Mohanlal.

The actress explained that this posed a significant challenge for her because the audience already had a clear image of the story and the characters in their minds. She felt that establishing the Hindi remake among the audience under such circumstances could be difficult.

Tabu mentioned that she was quite apprehensive about the film's success, as comparisons were inevitable. However, the way the audience accepted the film after its release came as a pleasant surprise to her.

During the trailer launch event, Tabu discussed her attachment to the film and her mental state at that time. She stated that facing such challenges as an artist motivates her to perform even better.

Tabu's performance has always been crucial to the success of the ‘Drishyam’ franchise. The depth with which she has portrayed her character has been highly appreciated by both the audience and critics.

The entire team of the film was present at the event in Goa, and everyone expressed great excitement for the third installment. Tabu expressed hope that ‘Drishyam 3’ would also live up to the audience's expectations and keep them engaged once again.

This event was a key part of the film's promotion, where the cast shared their experiences and further fueled the audience's anticipation for the upcoming release.
