Two individuals who were trapped inside a tunnel at the Trishuli 3-A Hydropower Project in Nepal for nine days have been rescued alive. According to BBC News Nepali, Joint Manager of the Nepal Electricity Authority, Suresh Raut, confirmed the success of the rescue operation. The incident has drawn national attention, and the efforts of the rescue teams are being widely praised.

A significant relief has emerged from Nepal, where two people trapped in a tunnel at the Trishuli 3-A Hydropower Project have been rescued safely. These individuals had been stuck inside the tunnel for the past nine days. According to a report by BBC News Nepali, surviving for such an extended period inside a tunnel is being considered a major achievement.

Suresh Raut, Joint Manager of the Nepal Electricity Authority, confirmed the rescue to BBC News Nepali. He noted that the rescue operation was highly challenging, but the team eventually succeeded. The news of the survival of those trapped brought a wave of relief to their families and the local community.

The incident occurred during work at the Trishuli 3-A Hydropower Project, where the individuals became trapped due to technical or other unforeseen circumstances. Remaining inside a dark and narrow tunnel for nine days would have been an incredibly difficult experience for anyone. The rescue team risked their lives to reach these individuals.

Following the rescue, both individuals were immediately taken to a hospital for medical assistance. A team of doctors is closely monitoring their condition. Their physical health is being evaluated, given the long duration they spent without food and water inside the tunnel.

Local administration and the Nepal Electricity Authority have expressed gratitude to all the teams involved in making this rescue operation a success. This incident has also drawn attention to the safety standards for workers employed in hydropower projects.

Currently, there are hopes for the speedy recovery of both individuals. Following this incident, a review of safety protocols inside the tunnel is expected to prevent such occurrences in the future.

This rescue mission is being viewed as an example of the readiness of disaster management and rescue teams in Nepal. The success achieved after a nine-day struggle brings relief to everyone involved.
