These narcotics were associated with a total of 253 cases registered across six different police stations in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The police had recovered these consignments through various raids conducted over time, which have now been destroyed following court orders.

The primary objective of 'Operation Dahan' is the safe disposal of seized narcotics and ensuring that these substances do not re-enter society. The police administration has described this action as a significant step towards a drug-free society.
