Department of Justice Concludes 'Swachhata Hi Seva-2026' Campaign, Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Appreciates Efforts

The Department of Justice successfully organized the 'Swachhata Hi Seva-2026' campaign from September 17 to October 2, 2026. The theme for this year was 'Participation in Cleanliness, Clean India, Developed India'. The campaign commenced with the Secretary of the Department, Neeraj Verma, administering the cleanliness pledge to all officers and staff.
During the campaign, officials actively participated in voluntary labor activities. They focused on cleaning public areas, staircases, and walls within the office. Additionally, damaged furniture, computers, and printers were repaired or replaced. Deep cleaning of often overlooked areas, such as rooftops and water tanks, was also ensured.
On September 25, 'Sports for Cleanliness' was organized within the department, featuring activities like cleanliness runs and dart board games. These events aimed to promote awareness about cleanliness in an engaging manner.
On October 1, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal, led the campaign. He paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Jaisalmer House and participated in voluntary labor under the 'One Day, One Hour, Together' initiative. A tree plantation drive was also held under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.
At the conclusion of the campaign, Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal distributed cleanliness honors and kits to the sanitation workers. These kits included essential items such as sanitizers, gloves, towels, t-shirts, and caps. Winners of the cleanliness sports competitions were also awarded.
The Minister appreciated the department's efforts and the active participation of the staff. He emphasized that environmental improvement is possible only through collective efforts. This campaign reflects the department's commitment to cleanliness.
This initiative not only cleaned the office premises but also instilled a new sense of energy among the employees regarding cleanliness. The department has resolved to continue such efforts in the future.
