Acting on a tip-off regarding suspicious individuals active with stolen bikes, the police set up a trap and apprehended two men in possession of two stolen motorcycles. During initial questioning, the suspects confessed to their crimes.
Based on the information provided by the accused, the police conducted a raid at a specific location, leading to the recovery of 15 additional motorcycles. In total, 17 vehicles have been seized by the police. All recovered bikes were reported stolen from Bareilly and surrounding areas.
Police officials stated that the gang had been active for quite some time and employed various methods to dispose of the stolen vehicles. Efforts are underway to identify the owners by verifying the chassis and engine numbers of the recovered bikes.
