PM Modi distributes appointment letters to 51,000 youth at 20th Rozgar Mela, calls for a developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 20th Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, congratulating over 51,000 youth on joining government service. He noted that this milestone is a result of both the candidates' hard work and the sacrifices made by their families. The Prime Minister reminded the youth that they are entering the government system at a crucial juncture as India moves toward the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
The Prime Minister encouraged the youth to strengthen the self-reliant India campaign and contribute to the economy through innovation. Highlighting the BRICS summit and various free trade agreements, he stated that India is opening new avenues globally. He emphasized that the government is prioritizing skill development through initiatives like the National Education Policy and the Skill India Mission.
Discussing the startup ecosystem, the Prime Minister noted that India has become the world's third-largest startup hub, with significant participation from youth in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. He also mentioned the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, which provides incentives to youth entering the workforce for the first time.
Regarding the country's economic progress, the Prime Minister highlighted a 7.8 percent growth rate and a 12 percent increase in investment. He urged government employees to maintain the momentum of administrative reforms and ease of doing business. He stressed that transparency and sensitivity are essential in government operations.
Emphasizing the importance of Mission Karmayogi and the iGOT platform, the Prime Minister stated that continuous learning and adopting new technologies are mandatory in government service. He urged the youth to prioritize citizens' aspirations in their decision-making. Describing 'Citizen is God' as the core mantra of public service, he concluded that serving citizens is the true service to the nation.
