A photo lab operator in Farrukhabad's Badhpur area fell victim to cyber fraudsters who swindled Rs 11.67 lakh by promising high returns on stock market investments. According to Amar Ujala, the victim was lured into transferring the funds before realizing the scam. Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the fraudulent transactions to track down the perpetrators involved in this online financial crime.

A photo lab operator based in the Badhpur area was targeted by online fraudsters under the pretext of stock market trading. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the unidentified cybercriminals enticed the victim with promises of lucrative returns on investments in the share market.
The fraudsters gained the victim's trust by providing details about various investment methods and promising significant profits. Falling into this trap, the lab operator gradually transferred a total sum of Rs 11.67 lakh into accounts specified by the criminals.
By the time the victim realized that they had been cheated, it was too late. The fraudsters misappropriated the funds and severed contact with the victim. Following this incident, the victim reported the matter to the relevant authorities.
As per Amar Ujala, the police have registered a complaint and initiated an investigation with the assistance of the cyber cell. The police are now attempting to trace the bank accounts and mobile numbers used by the fraudsters to execute this crime.
