Accident on the set of 'Neerja', Jim Sarbh accidentally hit Sonam Kapoor's face with a gun

Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh recently shared an old anecdote from the set of his debut film, 'Neerja'. In this movie, Jim played the role of a terrorist, a performance that was highly appreciated by the audience. However, during the filming of a particular scene, he made a significant mistake.

According to the entertainment desk at Amar Ujala, Jim Sarbh explained that he was required to act with a prop gun during an important scene. During this process, the gun accidentally hit Sonam Kapoor's face. The incident was so sudden that everyone present on the set became alarmed.

Jim Sarbh mentioned that as soon as the gun struck Sonam's face, he immediately began apologizing for his mistake. He admitted that he was very scared at that moment because Sonam was a prominent actress and he feared she might have been seriously hurt. However, Sonam Kapoor handled the situation with great maturity.

According to the actor, Sonam did not create a scene at that time, nor did she stop the shooting. She told Jim to stay calm and focused on completing the scene regardless of her injury. This behavior from Sonam left a deep impression on Jim.

Jim Sarbh further stated that after that incident, he became much more cautious regarding his work. He noted that he learned that day how important it is for an actor to prioritize safety and be mindful of co-actors on set.

This anecdote remains an important lesson for Jim Sarbh even today. He described 'Neerja' as a special film in his career and noted that such experiences help him become a better artist.

Praising Sonam Kapoor, Jim said that she is a very professional actress. She did not lose her patience even in that difficult situation, which allowed the shooting to be completed without any major obstacles.
