Bareilly man defrauded of five lakhs and held hostage in Saudi Arabia under false job pretext

A resident of Bareilly has alleged being defrauded of five lakh rupees under the guise of a driver job in Saudi Arabia. The victim claims he was held hostage, forced to herd goats, and threatened when he demanded his money back. Police have registered a case against the accused and are currently investigating the matter.

A case of major fraud involving a job abroad has emerged in Bareilly. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the victim alleged that he was lured with the promise of a driver job in Saudi Arabia. In exchange for this promise, five lakh rupees were extracted from him.

When the young man protested against this treatment and demanded his money back, the accused began issuing threats. The victim reported that he was threatened with death, which left him in a state of fear. This situation became extremely distressing and challenging for him.
