VIMARSHNAARAD TVA major controversy has erupted in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh following the death of a pregnant woman. According to reports, a woman who was admitted to the Mustafabad Community Health Centre (CHC) was taken to a private hospital by a contract doctor, who promised better medical care.
Tragically, the woman passed away while undergoing treatment at the private facility. Following her death, the family members accused the doctor of gross negligence, alleging that she had transferred the patient to the private hospital for personal gain.
In response to the family's protests and formal complaints, the health department took immediate action. Recognizing the severity of the situation, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) ordered the private hospital to be sealed.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, the family members believe that if the woman had received proper care at the CHC, her life might have been saved. They have raised serious questions regarding the doctor's conduct.
The health department has initiated an inquiry into the matter. Authorities are investigating whether the doctor violated official protocols and whether the private hospital possessed the necessary facilities to handle such cases.
Local residents have also expressed their anger over the incident and are demanding improvements in public health services. They allege that it has become common for doctors posted in government hospitals to have unholy alliances with private clinics.
