Interstate gang stealing money from ATMs arrested in Bhind, police nabbed three accused

An interstate gang that used to steal money from customers by tampering with ATM machines has been busted in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh. Mehgaon police station arrested three cunning members of this gang. The accused used to cheat customers by placing aluminum plates in the ATM machines. The police are investigating the matter thoroughly.

The police have busted an interstate gang involved in ATM fraud in Bhind district. According to an Amar Ujala report, the Mehgaon police station has successfully arrested three members of this gang. The group had been targeting ATM machines for quite some time.

The modus operandi of the accused was quite cunning. They used to insert aluminum plates into the cash dispensing slot of the ATM machine. When a customer came to withdraw money, the cash would not come out of the machine.

As soon as the customer left the ATM thinking the machine was faulty, the accused would immediately approach the machine and remove the cash stuck in the plate. In this way, they would steal the hard-earned money of innocent customers.

The police had been receiving complaints about ATM tampering for a long time. Based on these complaints, the police laid a trap and attempted to catch the accused red-handed. Due to the vigilance of the Mehgaon police, this gang was finally brought under the grip of the law.

The three arrested accused were active at an interstate level. The police are now interrogating them to determine how many ATMs they have targeted so far and how many other people might be involved in this gang.

The police have appealed to the general public to exercise caution while using ATMs. If money does not come out of the machine, inform the bank immediately and do not take help from any unknown person.

Currently, the police are taking further legal action in this matter. This arrest is expected to curb incidents of ATM fraud in the region.
