Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has announced 'Special Campaign 6.0' to promote cleanliness. The company has set a target to clean over 1 million square feet across its offices and colonies. The campaign will run from October 2 to October 31, 2026, with a special focus on the scientific management of e-waste and improving workplace efficiency.
VIMARSHNAARAD TVMahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has intensified its preparations for 'Special Campaign 6.0' with the aim of improving cleanliness and workplace management. The company has set an ambitious target to clean more than 1 million square feet of area across its various offices, residential colonies, and other premises during this campaign.
This target is significantly higher compared to the previous year's campaign. During the last drive, MCL had covered 6.12 lakh square feet in identified areas. This initiative reflects the company's commitment toward developing a clean, organized, and efficient work culture.
In accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India, this campaign will be conducted from October 2 to October 31, 2026. Its primary objectives include institutionalizing cleanliness, optimizing the use of available space in offices, and reducing pending administrative matters.
This year's campaign will place special emphasis on the scientific disposal of e-waste. MCL will strengthen the process of identifying, segregating, and systematically disposing of old and discarded electronic items generated from its establishments.
The purpose of this initiative is not only to implement waste management responsibly but also to make offices safer and more organized. Clearing out useless and unnecessary items to make better use of workplace space is a key component of this drive.
