Meerut police have seized 400 kg of explosive materials following raids in Lala Ka Bazar, Kesarganj, and Rohta. The explosives were stored in densely populated areas for the illegal manufacturing of firecrackers. This operation has averted a potential major disaster. Further investigations and legal actions are currently underway.

In a significant operation, police in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, have seized a large quantity of explosive materials. A total of 400 kg of explosives was confiscated during raids conducted across different police station jurisdictions. The materials were being stored illegally in densely populated areas of the city for the purpose of manufacturing firecrackers.

Delhi Gate police conducted a raid in the Lala Ka Bazar area, while Railway Road police took action in Kesarganj. Additionally, the Rohta police station team carried out a raid on the Meerut-Baraut main road. Explosive materials were stored at all these locations, posing a risk of a major accident at any moment.

According to the police, the discovery of such explosives in the middle of a densely populated area is a matter of grave security concern. Had the police not acted in time, even a small spark could have devastated the entire neighborhood.

During the raids, the police seized the explosive materials from the sites. The individuals involved are being identified, and preparations for strict legal action against them are underway. The police are also investigating the source of these explosives and identifying the people behind this illegal operation.

Local residents have praised the police for this action. People expressed that conducting such activities in densely populated areas could be fatal. The police have warned that strict actions will continue against those found storing explosives illegally.

Security measures have been tightened in these areas of Meerut. The police administration has appealed to the public to immediately inform the authorities if they notice any such suspicious activity in their vicinity.

Currently, the seized explosives have been moved to a secure location, and a detailed investigation into the matter is ongoing. The police have stated that no one involved in this illegal trade will be spared.
