UPSC Announces Results for Combined Medical Services Examination 2026, Interview Process Begins

The Union Public Service Commission has released the written results for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2026. Qualified candidates are now eligible for the personality test. The commission has mandated that candidates must log in to the official portal to update their academic details and upload necessary documents. The interview schedule will be published on the commission's website in due course.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the results for the written portion of the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026, which was held on August 2, 2026. Candidates who have successfully cleared this stage are now eligible to appear for the personality test or interview. The commission noted that the candidature of these individuals remains provisional, pending verification of their eligibility in all respects.

Candidates who have qualified for the personality test are required to log in to the official UPSC portal within a 15-day window. During this period, they must update their academic qualifications and other relevant personal details. Furthermore, candidates are required to upload supporting documents to validate their claims. The commission emphasized that failure to complete this mandatory online process will result in disqualification from subsequent stages of the examination.

At the time of the personality test, candidates must present original certificates regarding their age, educational qualifications, community, and any benchmark disabilities. The commission has advised all candidates to verify their documentation requirements against the instructions available on the website well in advance. Candidates who fail to produce the necessary original documents before the interview board will not be permitted to participate in the process.

The schedule for the interviews will be uploaded to the official website in due course. Candidates will be informed of their specific interview dates through e-summon letters. The commission has stated that requests for changes to the scheduled date and time of the personality test will generally not be entertained under any circumstances.

Once the final results are published, the mark-sheets of the candidates will be made available on the UPSC website for a period of 30 days. Candidates wishing to obtain a printed copy of their mark-sheet must submit a request to the commission within 30 days of the marks being displayed. For any queries or clarifications, candidates may contact the commission's designated call center.
