UPSC Initiates Physical Test Process Following Written Results for CAPF Assistant Commandant Exam 2026

The Union Public Service Commission has released the written results for the CAPF Assistant Commandant Exam 2026. Successful candidates are now required to undergo physical standard and efficiency tests. Candidates must update their documents on the official portal and obtain e-admit cards issued by the nodal agency, Sashastra Seema Bal.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the written results for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination held on July 19, 2026. Based on these results, successful candidates are now eligible for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The commission noted that the candidature of these individuals remains provisional, and they must present original certificates during the personality test stage.

A 15-day window has been provided for candidates to update their information. During this period, all qualified candidates must log in to the official portal to update their educational qualification status and upload necessary supporting documents. Failure to complete this mandatory step will result in disqualification from subsequent stages of the examination, and the commission will not entertain any correspondence regarding such omissions.

Candidates who have already submitted their documents during the initial application process must also log in to verify their details and print their application forms. This printed copy is required for the PET and is essential for generating the e-admit card for the interview stage. Failure to update or verify information will render candidates ineligible for further participation.

The physical tests will be conducted by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), the nodal authority designated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Details regarding the date, time, and venue will be published on the SSB recruitment website. Candidates are advised to monitor their registered email and the official SSB portal regularly for updates.

In case of issues regarding the receipt of e-admit cards, candidates may contact the SSB headquarters via the provided helpline number or email addresses. On the day of the test, candidates must carry their e-admit card, a printed copy of their submitted application, and a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, driving license, or passport.

Following the declaration of final results, mark sheets for candidates who did not qualify will be made available on the UPSC website for 30 days. Candidates can access these by entering their roll number and date of birth. The commission has reiterated that mobile phones are prohibited within the UPSC premises, and candidates may reach out to the facilitation counter for any queries.
