UP: Two Youths Arrested for Posting Obscene Videos of Adolescent Girls in 70 Social Media Groups
In Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested two youths for posting obscene videos of adolescent girls and children in 70 social media groups. Following the emergence of this incident, the police administration took immediate action.
The cyber police station initiated an intensive investigation into the matter. During the probe, the police relied on technical evidence. Officials analyzed mobile numbers and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, which helped ensure the accurate location and identification of the accused.
Two youths have been arrested as a result of the police operation. One of the accused, Shahrukh, is a resident of Dehradun, while the other, Rizwan, is a resident of Shamli district. The police have taken both into custody and have begun further questioning.
This case is considered highly sensitive as it involves the safety of children and adolescents. The dissemination of such offensive content on social media is a criminal offense, and the police have treated the matter with utmost seriousness.
The police department has also appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activity or offensive content seen on social media to the cyber cell.
Following the arrest of the accused, the police are now attempting to determine their primary motive behind creating and circulating these videos, and whether other individuals are involved in this network.
Currently, the process of sending both accused into judicial custody is underway, and the police are investigating all aspects of the case to prevent such incidents in the future.
