UP: Two Golf Caddies Arrested for Chain Snatching Near DCP Office, Police Used 90 CCTV Cameras to Identify Them

The accused have been identified as Yogesh, alias Ankit Kashyap, a resident of Ghaukheda, and Danish, a resident of Maikupurwa in Jajmau.
During the investigation, it was revealed that both accused worked as golf caddies. At the time of the incident, the suspects intercepted a couple riding a scooter, forced them to fall, and snatched the woman's chain before fleeing the scene. The incident took place in close proximity to the DCP office, which had raised concerns regarding local security.
To resolve the case, the police undertook an extensive investigation. The police team meticulously reviewed footage from approximately 90 CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity of the crime scene. After several days of diligent effort and analysis of the footage, the police were able to identify the suspects.
