UP: Schools Up to Class 8 to Remain Closed in Bareilly on Monday Due to Heavy Rain
In view of the continuous heavy rainfall in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, the district administration has taken a significant decision. Following instructions from District Magistrate Avinash Singh, the Basic Education Officer has declared a holiday for all schools up to class 8 on Monday. This order applies to all government and private schools across the district.

Considering the adverse weather conditions and waterlogging, the district administration has prioritized the safety of students. District Magistrate Avinash Singh decided to keep schools closed after reviewing the situation.
Following the District Magistrate's instructions, the Basic Education Officer (BSA) has issued an official order. Under this directive, classes up to the eighth grade in all government, aided, and private schools across the district will remain suspended on Monday. This decision was taken to protect children from any inconvenience caused by the rain.
The administration has directed all school operators to strictly comply with this order. Schools for students up to class 8 will not be opened under any circumstances on Monday. Parents have also been advised to keep their children at home and monitor the weather conditions.
Due to the rainfall in Bareilly over the last 24 hours, waterlogging has been reported in several areas. Commuting for school children could have been risky due to water accumulation on the roads. Keeping this in mind, the administration has taken this precautionary step.
The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of further rain in the coming days. The administration is continuously monitoring the situation and may take further decisions if necessary. For now, the holiday announced for Monday is effective only for students up to class 8.
The district administration has also appealed to the general public to avoid stepping out unnecessarily. If the rain continues, the administration may issue further updates regarding schools. All relevant departments have been instructed to remain alert to handle any emergency situations.
