Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has questioned the working style of previous governments in the state. According to an Amar Ujala network report, the Chief Minister, while referring to the Samajwadi Party's tenure, said that appointments to government jobs were made without any formal applications at that time. He alleged that previous governments had created middlemen in the system, which deprived common youth of their rights.
The Chief Minister stated that when government commissions and selection boards are not victims of governance politics, their way of working changes completely. He claimed that under the current government, the examination process is entirely pure and transparent.
Yogi Adityanath further added that when the selection process is fair, its results are also positive and clearly visible. He emphasized that his government has worked to free the recruitment process from middlemen and corruption.
According to the Chief Minister, there was a lack of transparency in appointments under previous governments, due to which qualified candidates did not get opportunities. He said that in the current system, youth are getting government jobs solely on the basis of merit.
The government believes that the future of the youth can be secured only by keeping recruitment boards away from political pressure. The Chief Minister said that the main objective of his government is to provide employment opportunities to the youth without any discrimination.
Through this statement, the Chief Minister has highlighted the achievements of his government while launching a strong attack on the functioning of previous governments. He clarified that the basis of appointments in the state is now only merit and a fair examination process.
The Chief Minister also said that efforts will continue to make the recruitment process even more robust and transparent in the future so that the youth of the state do not have to face any kind of difficulty.
