UP: CM Yogi Adityanath labels SP and Congress as anti-Sanatan, targets them for skipping Ram Mandir events
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accused the Samajwadi Party and Congress of being anti-Sanatan. He stated that leaders from these parties avoided the Ram Mandir foundation stone laying and consecration ceremonies. According to the Chief Minister, they feared that participating would affect their specific identity. He advised the public to remain cautious of such individuals.

The Chief Minister stated that these parties deliberately maintained distance from historic events like the Ram Mandir foundation stone laying and the consecration of Ram Lalla.
Explaining the reason behind this avoidance, Yogi Adityanath remarked that leaders of these parties feared for their public image. He sarcastically noted that they were afraid that visiting the Ram Mandir might cause their traditional headgear to slip off.
The Chief Minister warned that individuals akin to the mythological character Kalnemi are always active in trying to obstruct sacred tasks like the Ram-kaj. He advised the public to remain vigilant against such elements.
According to Yogi Adityanath, the attitude of these parties towards the Sanatan faith has been clearly negative. He stated that those who hesitate to connect with their culture and centers of faith cannot be expected to contribute anything positive.
In his address, the Chief Minister clarified that the construction of the Ram Mandir is a symbol of the nation's cultural identity. He stated that failing to participate in such a glorious moment reflects the narrow-mindedness of these parties.
According to the Amar Ujala network report, the Chief Minister targeted these party leaders, stating that they only focus on vote-bank politics. He remarked that such people will never be able to understand the values of the Sanatan faith.
Finally, the Chief Minister appealed to the people to recognize the true nature of such political parties. He stated that the state needs leadership dedicated to religion and culture, rather than those who insult centers of faith.
