The duo, identified as Shashikant Maurya and Suryakant Maurya from Badaun, each had a bounty of 50,000 rupees on their heads. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has executed a significant operation in the state capital, Lucknow, resulting in the arrest of two notorious criminals. The individuals, identified as Shashikant Maurya and Suryakant Maurya, were captured in the Krishnanagar locality on Monday. Both men hail from Badaun district and had been evading law enforcement for an extended duration.

According to reports from Amar Ujala, both suspects were wanted by the police, and a reward of 50,000 rupees had been announced for information leading to their arrest. Following a tip-off regarding their presence in the city, the STF mobilized a team to track them down. The operation concluded successfully when the officers managed to corner and apprehend the pair in Krishnanagar.

STF officials stated that the arrest of these two brothers marks a major breakthrough.
