Additionally, she is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with her counterparts from several nations and engage with Qatari business leaders. India is the second-largest shareholder in the AIIB.

She is leading a delegation of officials from the Ministry of Finance during this diplomatic trip. The primary focus of her visit is to participate in the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), held in Doha.
The Finance Minister will represent India at the meeting in her capacity as the Indian Governor for the AIIB. It is noteworthy that India holds the position of the second-largest shareholder in this multilateral development bank. The AIIB is dedicated to fostering sustainable infrastructure development, promoting economic growth, and enhancing connectivity across Asia.
Throughout her visit, Smt. Sitharaman is scheduled to engage in a series of significant bilateral discussions. She will hold talks with the President of the AIIB. Furthermore, meetings are planned with her counterparts from Jordan, Switzerland, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal to discuss matters of mutual interest.
