Over a dozen gangsters brought back from abroad; no place left for criminals to hide: Baltej Pannu

Aam Aadmi Party leader Baltej Pannu claims that the Bhagwant Mann government's anti-drug and anti-gangster campaign is yielding international results. He stated that over a dozen gangsters have been brought back from abroad, leaving criminals with no safe havens to hide.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Baltej Pannu, while highlighting the achievements of the Punjab government, has claimed that the ongoing campaign against drugs and gangsters in the state is producing positive results. According to a report by NDTV India, Pannu stated that the government led by Bhagwant Mann has adopted a strict stance against criminals.

Pannu informed that due to the government's efforts, more than a dozen gangsters have been brought back from abroad so far. He emphasized that this action serves as proof that the reach of the law is extensive and that criminals can no longer hide anywhere in the world.

This government campaign is specifically focused on those gangsters who fled abroad after committing crimes in the state. According to Pannu, these criminals were identified through coordination with international agencies, and the process to bring them back was successfully completed.

He further added that maintaining peace and order in Punjab is the government's top priority. The government has also adopted a comprehensive strategy against drugs, under which not only is smuggling being curbed, but efforts are also being made to raise awareness among the youth.

The return of these gangsters is expected to lead to a decrease in the crime rate within the state. Pannu asserted that criminals no longer have any safe place to hide and will have to face the consequences of their actions under the law.

Countering allegations from the opposition, he stated that unlike previous governments, the current administration has taken strict action against criminals instead of providing them protection. This campaign will continue in the future to ensure the state becomes completely free of crime.

The Aam Aadmi Party believes that these measures have increased public trust in the police and administration. The government claims that more wanted criminals will be brought back in the near future to ensure they are held accountable for their actions.
