Road accident in Sambhal: Maternal uncle dies, two injured in collision between roadways bus and bike

A tragic road accident took place in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning. The incident occurred near the Bharat Petrol Pump on the Agra-Moradabad National Highway under the Babrala police station area, when a speeding roadways bus and a motorcycle collided head-on.

According to the information received, the collision was so severe that the motorcyclist died on the spot. Local sources state that the deceased was riding the bike along with his nephew and son. The nephew and son who were with the deceased have sustained serious injuries in this accident.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police and rescue team reached the spot. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest health center, where they are currently undergoing treatment. The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem, while an investigation into the matter has been initiated.

As per reports from the Amar Ujala network, the bus involved in the accident belonged to the Pital Nagri Roadways Depot. After the accident, there was chaos at the scene, and nearby residents rushed to provide assistance. The police have impounded the bus and are searching for the driver.

To restore smooth traffic flow on the road, the police arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Vehicle movement on the highway was affected for some time but was later normalized.
