Saharanpur: Another arrest from Haridwar in Rs 17.29 crore counterfeit currency case, NIA investigation continues

The NIA team has arrested another accused in this connection from Haridwar. A total of five people have been arrested so far, and the investigation is ongoing across several states.

The scam was uncovered when counterfeit notes were found in place of genuine ones in the currency chest. A total of Rs 17.29 crore was found to be fake, causing a major stir. The investigation into this serious matter was handed over to the NIA.
