VIMARSHNAARAD TVTalanagri, known as the industrial identity of Aligarh, is currently suffering from extreme neglect. More than ten thousand workers arrive daily at the nearly one thousand industrial units operating here to earn their livelihood. However, these workers and entrepreneurs are facing a major struggle for basic amenities.
The condition of the roads in the area has become extremely dilapidated, making commuting very difficult. According to entrepreneurs, there is no proper arrangement for parking vehicles on the service road, which often leads to traffic congestion.
The situation regarding cleanliness in Talanagri is also alarming. Piles of garbage are accumulated in various places, which are not only spreading foul odors but also posing health risks. Furthermore, the public toilets built here have been closed for a long time, causing significant distress to the workers.
Irregular power supply has also broken the back of the entrepreneurs. Frequent power cuts are having a negative impact on production work. Entrepreneurs state that these problems have hindered the development of the industrial area, making it increasingly challenging to operate.
There is significant resentment locally regarding these issues. Entrepreneurs have demanded that the administration take immediate steps to improve the dilapidated condition of Talanagri. If the infrastructure is not repaired in time, it could have an even more adverse effect on the industrial activities here in the future.
