Officials from the Kol Tehsil targeted the Mirzapur Siya region to clear valuable public property that had been encroached upon for a long time.
According to reports from Amar Ujala, the administration successfully recovered 106 bighas of land. Given its proximity to the city, the market value of this land is estimated to be over 100 crore rupees, making it a high-priority area for the local authorities.
To execute the recovery, the administration deployed bulldozers to demolish illegal structures built on the site. During the operation, the walls of a school that had been constructed on the government land were also brought down. The authorities emphasized that no form of encroachment on public property would be tolerated.
This drive is part of a broader initiative by the district administration to reclaim government assets from land mafias and illegal settlers. The swift action taken by the officials has sent a strong message across the region.
