Teacher dismissed after remaining absent from school for eight years without notice

A shocking case has emerged from the Etmadpur region of Uttar Pradesh, where a government teacher did not attend school for the past eight years. The prolonged absence of this teacher, posted at Mukhwar Composite School, has raised questions about the functioning of the education department.

According to a report by Amar Ujala, the teacher remained away from duty for such a long time without any prior information or permission. During this period, the teacher neither marked their attendance at the school nor responded to any communication from the department.

The department had issued multiple notices to the teacher regarding their absence. The purpose of these notices was to seek clarification from the teacher and to call them back to work, but the teacher did not respond to any of them.

After remaining absent from school for eight consecutive years and completely ignoring departmental instructions, the administration finally decided to terminate their services. This action was taken due to the violation of rules and negligence towards duty.
