Uttar Pradesh to introduce comprehensive report cards for pre-primary students with focus on 70 percent attendance

According to an Amar Ujala report, the Basic and Secondary Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has decided to issue comprehensive report cards for pre-primary students. Additional Chief Secretary Parth Sarthi Sen Sharma has directed the formation of six-member ECCE core groups in all districts. The new system will place special emphasis on ensuring 70 percent student attendance.

The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a significant step to improve the quality of school education. According to a report by Amar Ujala, comprehensive report cards will now be prepared for children studying in pre-primary schools across the state. This initiative aims to track the academic and personal development of young students.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Basic and Secondary Education Department, Parth Sarthi Sen Sharma, has issued detailed guidelines regarding this matter. He has ordered the formation of a six-member ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) core group in every district. This group will be responsible for the management and monitoring of pre-primary education.

Special emphasis has been placed on student attendance under this new system. According to the report, schools must ensure that at least 70 percent of students attend classes regularly. This attendance target has been made mandatory to maintain continuity in education.

Officials believe that through these report cards, parents will receive clear information about their children's progress. This will help in establishing better coordination between home and school.

The primary task of the ECCE core group will be to implement educational standards at the pre-primary level and conduct periodic reviews. This group will work in collaboration with the education department at the local level.

This effort by the state government is being viewed as a crucial step toward strengthening the foundation of early education for children. It is expected to not only enhance the learning capacity of students but also improve discipline in schools.

Preparations are underway to effectively implement this new system across all districts in the coming days. Officials from the education department will monitor the entire process to ensure that the benefits reach the students directly.
