Uttar Pradesh becomes the fifth largest exporting state, CM Yogi highlights achievements
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that Uttar Pradesh has now become the fifth largest exporting state in India. He shared on social media that the carpet industry of Bhadohi has a significant contribution to exports. The CM claimed that before 2017, there was a lack of basic facilities and opportunities in the state, which his government has addressed.

He shared on his official social media account 'X' that Uttar Pradesh has now emerged as the fifth largest exporting state in the country.
The Chief Minister specifically mentioned the carpet industry of Bhadohi, stating that the skills of the artisans there were previously struggling for recognition and markets. He said that the current government has opened new avenues of development for these artisans and provided them access to the global market.
Yogi Adityanath targeted previous governments, saying that before 2017, there was a severe lack of basic facilities and opportunities in the state. He claimed that his government has created a favorable environment for industrial development, the results of which are visible in today's export figures.
According to an Amar Ujala report, the Chief Minister said that due to the government's policies, products from various districts of the state are now getting international recognition. He described this as the result of the success of schemes like 'One District, One Product'.
The state government believes that the increase in exports is not only strengthening the state's economy but also creating employment opportunities at the local level. Citing the example of the Bhadohi carpet industry, he said that this sector has now become a major pillar of the state's export capacity.
The Chief Minister further stated that the government's goal is to make Uttar Pradesh the largest economy in the country. For this, special attention is being given to the development of infrastructure and the promotion of exports.
In his message, he also said that a safe and transparent system now exists for investment in the state. Entrepreneurs who were previously thinking of moving out of the state are now expanding their businesses in Uttar Pradesh.
Finally, the Chief Minister congratulated all the entrepreneurs and artisans of the state for this achievement and said that it is the result of collective efforts. The government is committed to providing all possible assistance to promote exports in the future as well.
