Edgbaston Test: Pakistan bundled out for 133, England takes control on day one

England has established a strong position on the first day of the third Test match in the ongoing series at Edgbaston. According to an NDTV India report, the entire Pakistan team was dismissed for just 133 runs. In response, England finished the day at 156 for 4. Despite significant changes to the squad and coaching staff, Pakistan's performance remained disappointing.

In the third match of the ongoing Test series at Edgbaston, Birmingham, England has firmly taken control on the very first day. According to an NDTV India report, the Pakistan team was bundled out for a mere 133 runs in their first innings.

Pakistan had made major changes to their playing eleven and also reshuffled their coaching staff for this match. However, these changes did not yield a positive impact on the team's performance, and the entire batting lineup appeared to struggle.

England's bowlers did not allow the Pakistani batsmen to settle, taking wickets at regular intervals. The batting order for Pakistan failed completely, preventing the team from reaching a competitive total.

By the end of the day's play, England had reached 156 for the loss of 4 wickets in their first innings. With this, England has secured a lead of 23 runs over Pakistan's first-innings total.

England's batsmen started steadily and successfully capitalized on Pakistan's low score to build a lead. The first day of the match was entirely dominated by England.

It will now be a significant challenge for Pakistan to make a comeback in the match. The team will need to perform better in the bowling department and show more responsibility with the bat in the second innings.

According to the NDTV India report, the dominance of England's bowlers on the Edgbaston pitch was clearly evident. The series has now reached a very difficult stage for the Pakistan team.

On the second day of the match, England will aim to extend their lead further, while Pakistan will attempt to take the remaining wickets as quickly as possible to stay in the contest.
