The Ministry of Coal convened a crucial meeting to outline the framework for 'Special Campaign 6.0'. The session was chaired by Joint Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Kassi and attended by nodal officers from Coal India Limited, NLC India Limited, the Coal Controller's Organization, and the Coal Mines Provident Fund Organization.

During the meeting, the objectives and implementation strategies for the upcoming campaign were discussed in detail. Officials were briefed on the achievements and best practices adopted by the ministry during the previous 'Special Campaign 5.0'.

Key focus areas for the new campaign include effective e-waste disposal, office space expansion, the adoption of modern cleaning techniques, and efficient scrap management. Furthermore, the ministry plans to emphasize digitization and wealth creation from waste.

The ministry aims to adopt a citizen-centric approach and strengthen institutional protocols. Efforts will be directed toward creating a cleaner and greener workplace by implementing eco-friendly practices.

According to the DARPG evaluation report, the Ministry of Coal secured the top position in terms of space vacated during Special Campaign 5.0. Additionally, the ministry ranked third in terms of revenue generated through these efforts.

These achievements have provided a strong foundation for the upcoming campaign. The ministry has reiterated its ongoing commitment to cleanliness, environmental sustainability, and better resource management.

The meeting emphasized that the ministry will continue to prioritize the timely disposal of pending matters and administrative effectiveness. The primary goal is to foster a more efficient, organized, and conducive work environment.
